No Surprises in Judiciary Committee Vote for Sotomayor

The Senate Judiciary Committee has approved the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the US Supreme Court.  The vote was 13 to 6 with Alabama's Jeff Sessions leading Republican opposition; South Carolina's Lindsey Graham was the only Republican to vote for the nomination.
