The World Embraces President Obama Barack Obama’s inaugural address was not an event witnessed by Americans alone. On his first day in office, President Obama has been calling leaders in the Middle East. Opposition to the war in Iraq was a major factor in Barack Obama’s campaign and his election. And despite the friendship between George Bush and Britain’s Tony Blair, US relations with Western Europe took a dive during the past 8 years. One immediate question: is “hate speech” protected by the First Amendment?

Many questions remain: did the President try to obstruct a federal investigation? Later, we’ll go behind the “velvet rope” for a look at 5-Star health care for the richest Americans.
