Inspired by a Popular Science article about the banana paradox, writer-journalist Dan Koeppel examined the banana trade and its consequences, globalization, geopolitics, and genetic fragility in a new book.

    Dan will be discussing and signing copies of his book, Banana: The Fate of the Fruit That Changed the World, at Vroman's Bookstore (695 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena) on Thursday, January 10 at 7pm.
