    A Canadian mining company seeks to excavate North America’s largest copper mine in Bristol Bay, Alaska, which is home to the last fully intact salmon run in the world. Indigineous people have lived off the salmon as their primary food source for 4,000 years. Director Mark Titus describes the potential exploitation of Bristol Bay and the threats to culture, food, and ecology in his film “The Wild.”
