FROM THIS EPISODE

In this summer movie season update, Kim and John talk about how PG-13 films that were once the reliable breadwinners at the box office are losing out to PG and G-Rated films this summer. With the success of Toy Story 3, Karate Kid and Shrek Forever After we see that family films are not just for families anymore-- kids, teens, young adults and adults without kids are flocking to them. Meanwhile, adult fare movies like Robin Hood, Prince of Persia and the new Knight & Day -- which isn't tracking well -- are getting left in the dust.
