The promise of the World Wide Web has been widely touted over the past decade or so. The phase we’re in now emphasizes user-generated content such as blogs, YouTube, MySpace and Wikipedia, and is often referred to as Web 2.0. Is Web 2.0 the ultimate democratization of the media?
