Jonathan Gold's Top 10 dishes for 2016

Some of us will look back on 2016 as a series of events that have seared themselves in our memory. For LA Times food critic Jonathan Gold, much of 2016 was spent sampling new restaurants and discovering the hottest food trends. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it. From Tony Xu’s Chengdu-style zha jiang mian at Mian to Chef Tony Esnault’s legumes de saison at Spring and LASA’s Pinoy-Californian version of pancit, Jonathan has been busy eating his way across town. He joins us in studio this week to present his top 10 dishes for 2016. Find out which other dishes made the cut and read Jonathan’s review for the LA Times.
