Vincent Williams is the owner of Honey’s Kettle. Known for its golden fried chicken and honey-coated biscuits, Williams opened 20 years ago in Compton. Five years later, he launched a second location in Culver City. He describes losing 60% of his business overnight at the start of the pandemic, but people lined up to support Black-owned businesses weeks later. Now Miller has opened Honey Drop Kitchen to deliver his flagship favorites.
