There is still no progress in the talks between writers and their agents about a new code of conduct. Usually, on the same side as their agents, now writers say that some agents are making money packaging deals at the expense of writers’ fees. Last week the Writers Guild told its members they could not be represented by agents who didn’t sign a code of conduct.
