The Supreme Court heard oral arguments today on whether to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census. It appears ready to give the Trump administration a win in its push to add that question. The Census survey isn’t usually the subject of extreme partisan fighting, but there’s a lot at stake. It dictates how many representatives each state gets in Congress, and how much federal money states get.
