The ACLU announced today that it’s suing the Trump administration over another immigration policy. This suit challenges the Department of Justice’s move to deny asylum seekers a bond hearing so they can leave detention while their cases pend. Separately, some asylum officers say they’re growing increasingly uncomfortable with a Trump policy that forces some asylum seekers to return to Mexico while they wait for a court hearing in the US.
