Kick Russia off United Nations Security Council: Is it possible?

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the United Nations to expel Russia from the Security Council just days after Russia invaded Ukraine. Members of U.S. Congress echoed that sentiment. 

The U.S., U.K., and European Union are all cutting or banning imports of Russian oil and gas. Over the weekend, President Vladimir Putin described the Western sanctions as “akin to a declaration of war.”
