Israel-Hamas Cease Fire Announced

Twenty-four hours after yesterday's cease-fire failed to go into effect, Israel and Hamas leaders in Gaza have agreed to stop shooting. After shuttling between Cairo and Jerusalem, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave credit to the newly elected Islamic President of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi "for his personal leadership to de-escalate the situation."
