Carolina Miranda’s story “ The Donut Man of East LA ” appeared in the tenth issue of Lucky Peach magazine. She tells the story of Abel Nabor Campos who left his town of Lagos de Moreno, Mexico and accidentally fell into doughnut-making when he arrived in the US. In his spare time, Abel is a luchador.
