Coachella 2009

Coachella is a regional holiday for music fans in SoCal and beyond. Its stellar reputation as America's finest music festival has steadily grown over a 10 year span. Indeed, everyone has stories of good times under the desert skies. I'll never forget DJing out there the first two years - opening for Rage Against the Machine on the main stage was one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had! I truly believe KCRW helped to set the stage for this ambitious music event and the proof is in our music playlist which reflects the line-up every year.
In gearing up for this year’s three day marathon of music, please enjoy this amazing collection of in-studio performances from artists featured at Coachella 2009.

Jason Bentley - Music Director, KCRW
