- Making News: London Identifies Four Suicide Bombers
As the death count rose to 53, all activity in London stopped for two minutes today to remember the people who died in the terrorist bombings exactly one week ago. Meantime, Scotland Yard confirmed the names of two bombers and released videotape of the one thought to have killed himself on the No. 30 bus, asking for help from the public in identifying him. Sebastian Rotella is reporting from London for the Los Angeles Times.

President Bush refused to comment yesterday on whether he still supports his top political aide. Democrats are demanding Karl Rove's ouster for allegedly leaking the identity of Valerie Plame to discredit her husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson. Republicans say that's dirty politics. Larry Johnson, former counterterrorism official in the State Department, worked with Plame when he was an analyst for the CIA.
