The LA School District lost a battle today in the Belmont Learning Center dispute-as Southern California Edison continued the struggle to stay out of bankruptcy court. Most of the kids who took the new high-school exit exam could not score 70%, so the State Board of Education today set the passing grades much lower. We'll talk to Delaine Eastin, State Superintendent of Schools.
