FROM THIS EPISODE

For 19 years, celebrities and people from all walks of life have elbowed each other at the Hollywood Farmers' market, open only on Sundays, but so popular it makes enough money to support farmers' markets in other parts of LA. On our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, Eric Holder has become the first Attorney General to address a national Muslim group at a time when Muslim-Americans are divided over the anti-terrorist tactics of the FBI.  Are agents over-zealous?  Are Muslim-Americans themselves doing enough to combat radicalization?

Main Topic In the Heart of Hollywood: Produce or Parking? 25 MIN, 40 SEC

It's only open on Sundays, but there's enough money left over to help similar markets sell fresh produce in Watts, Atwater Village and other neighborhoods where they can't make it on their own.  For 19 years, the Hollywood Farmers' Market has occupied several blocks of Ivar and Selma Streets between Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards.  Now, its permit to block off the street has expired and a three-year dispute with the neighboring LA Film School is about to come to a head.

Guests:
Michael Woo, Chairman of the Board, SEE-LA
Adam Englander, Spokesman, Los Angeles Film School
Kerry Morrison, Executive Director, Hollywood Property Owners Alliance
Robert Gottlieb, Occidental College
David Zahniser, Los Angeles Times (@DavidZahniser)

Main Topic Policing Domestic Muslim Radicalism 26 MIN, 32 SEC

Since September 11 — most recently in Baltimore, Portland and Washington, DC -- suspects have been arrested before the terrorist acts they were planning ever occurred.  Young Muslim Americans have been tricked into thinking that undercover FBI informants were their accomplices. Some critics claim that, in those and other cases, agents engaged in entrapment.

Guests:
Evan Perez, Wall Street Journal (@evanperez)
Farhana Khera, Executive Director, Muslim Advocates
Philip Mudd, former Deputy Director, CIA's Counterterrorism Center
Hedieh Mirahmadi, World Organization for Resource Development and Education (@WORDEorg)
