This summer, KCRW comes out of the studio and into communities across L.A. again with a series of free, all-ages, outdoor shows. From Pasadena to the Pacific and beyond, KCRW brings hot bands, live DJ performances and more to stages throughout L.A.

One Colorado
About
Experience the KCRW music you love in the beautiful One Colorado courtyard in the heart of Old Pasadena. Seating is open and limited – so feel free to come early and get a drink at the bar. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, so bring a friend and make a night out of it! 7:30 – 9:30pm.

Part food event and part summer party, Chinatown Summer Nights features live cooking demonstrations, hands-on Chinese cultural activities, the LA Craft Experience artist market, live bands, food trucks, authentic Chinese restaurants, and KCRW DJs rockin' the dance floor – all in the heart of one of L.A.'s most unique neighborhoods. 5pm – midnight; KCRW DJ sets from 8p-12a. In celebration of A. Quincy Jones: Building for Better Living, the Hammer and KCRW present five Thursday evenings of free live music in the Hammer courtyard. Curated by and featuring KCRW DJs, special musical guests will be announced over the course of the series. 7pm.

Hailed "Best Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series" by Los Angeles Magazine, Grand Performances has presented high-quality music, spoken word, and dance in one of our city's most breathtaking outdoor venues - California Plaza in the heart of Downtown L.A. This summer, KCRW and its DJs team up with Grand Performance concerts on four of this season's biggest shows! 8pm.

This free, very special outdoor screening of Buena Vista Social Club is part of Segerstrom Center for the Arts "Free For All Movie Mondays," and will take place on the Community Plaza. Bring friends & family, beach chairs & blankets, snacks & picnic dinners. There will also be snacks available for purchase. Set up: 5:30pm; movie starts @ dusk (about 8pm).
