Fighting food waste and hunger at the same time

Hosted by

Food Forward is a Los Angeles-based non-profit fighting the dual epidemic of food waste and hunger. Rick Nahmias started Food Forward a decade ago when he stumbled over some fallen fruit in his own neighborhood. Today the organization has grown to the point of rescuing more than 430,000 pounds of surplus produce each week.

Nahmias joined Good Food’s Evan Kleiman for a conversation looking back at the organization’s ten-year journey.
