More than a dozen democratic lawmakers visited detention centers in Clint and El Paso, Texas on Monday. Congressman Joe Kennedy said Border Patrol officers tried to stop them from taking photos or videos, and attempted to take away their phones. Other lawmakers reported that migrants had no running water and were told by CBP to drink out of the toilet. California Democratic Congresswoman Judy Chu was among those who visited the patrol stations yesterday.
