LA Times writer Gustavo Arellano recently visited Casa Diaz Mexican Kitchen in Mira Loma, which specializes in the cuisine of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Some of the restaurant’s specialties include bowls of carne en su jugo and saucy plates of tacos ahogados—which Arellano says are alone worth the drive.
