Jonathan Gold on Controversy (and Food) at Red Medicine

Hosted by

Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize-winning food writer for the Los Angeles Times. This week he reviews Red Medicine, a restaurant steeped in controversy. Perhaps best known for outing the identity of LA Times food critic S. Irene Virbila, the restaurant is also known for the food which Jonathan describes as “neo-Nordic.”

He recommends the brassicas, trout roe, chicken dumplings and the dungeness crab.
